Westfield Introduces New Education Programs

Learn about the past... in an immersive, multisensory environment that makes history come alive through hands-on activities and memorable experiences. Each year Westfield welcomes over 12, 000 school children from a number of local school boards including Hamilton, Waterloo, Wellington, and Halton. Westfield offers both half day and full day programs from Monday to Friday 10:00 to 2:00 p.m. If you would like to book your class for one of our programs please call 519-621-8851.

A number of new programs have been added including A Frozen Land. This program is offered during the winter months of December, January and February. Experience the joys and trials of winter in early Canada. Try your hand at traditional pioneer games and crafts, experience life in a one room schoolhouse, learn about Victorian strategies for keeping healthy and cozy up to the fire in the D'Aubigny Inn to learn about winter travel.

Two other new programs include Secrets of the Pioneer Forest and Make Your Own Film. For more information check out the Education Page of this blog.
